a new playground

So … I’ve discovered Pinterest.  Can’t believe the synchronicity of that! I was looking for a way to organize some of the inspiration photos and images I save and was thinking of creating albums on FB (might still do that .. ?) when I literally stumbled across this lovely little pin-board site. Naturally, the first board was purples since that’s where my brain rests, but I think I’ll be creating a lot more. There are some images that just inspire in new and different ways every time I look at them, but the majority of them inspire colour explosions in my head. Another idea I want to get started on is sharing some of those palettes in way that you can make use of them – or just visit them from time to time. Of course, you can always visit me over at ColourLovers, one of my most beloved playgrounds – however, I want to do something a little different here. More on that later … While that percolates, here’s the first board I created, “Slurping Purples” … because one doesn’t need to be polite when imbibing the purpleness. 🙂
